I'm happy. I got quoted on a BBC Website.
Joy, bliss. New blog once the match is over.
First Half
I am proud to announce that I was right. It has been horrifying. A gift to Portsmouth FC when Jenas handles the ball in the box, handing (geddit?) a penalty for Defoe to cooly place into the bottom left corner of the Spurs goal, Gomes unable to reach it. Few chances otherwise, Pavlyuchenko failed to connect on a shot, and O'Hara's follow up was equally woeful. Defoe scored early on, (nineteen seconds, in fact) only to look up and see the offside flag fluttering in the cool Portsmouth breeze. Good goalkeeping from Gomes and poor finishing from Spurs sees this game end at half time with one goal seperating the sides, and without much between the teams.
Second Half
Oh dear. Poor. I'm not even going to bother going through it. Crouch scored the second to wrap it all up. Spurs were all over the place. What a lack of desire.
Oh, and feel free to comment. I've changed the settings so anyone can comment.
