I'll write a blog about this album once I've finished listening to it. Stay tuned! First impressions are very good.
"This used to be a funhouse, but now it's full of evil clowns." A quote from one of her songs in the album that perfectly sums up her life in the past few months. Now then, I'm not into gossip and rumours, etc. that crop up in girl mags. However, after all this hype about this album and her hit single 'So What', I figured I may as well look it up.

It packs a punch, that's for sure. Her thuggish attitude, mixed with her army-type voice is definately present in this album. There are fast songs, slow songs, mixed songs, loud songs, quiet songs, relaxing songs and rave songs. It has a real variety.

Personally, for me I prefer the loud songs and the rave songs. Though some of the slower tunes definately are affected by her 'muse' of the divorce with her husband. Her fast tunes are the sort that make you want to stand up wherever you are (be it a train, classroom, bedroom, in bed, I don't care) and just yell at the top of your voice. For example, So What is a classic. There's also this one, It's All Your Fault which definately has the scream factor in it.
There are the few songs that don't have the scream factor. Funhouse is a bit more of a rave tune, and Ave Mary A has something special about it which just makes you bop your head, if you're into that sort of thing. Of course, depending on the listener it may also be that every song has a bit of that scream factor. There certainly isn't a song without a decent beat to it.
All in all, I'm impressed with this album. It's got a real punch to it and obviously her divorce has impacted every song on this album. It sometimes appears that she's leaking her heart in a few songs. I suggest it - if you're a P!nk fan.
