People around the world will hold ceremonies, moments of silence and remember those that died to keep us free today.
Ninety years ago, the First World War came to an end. Millions had died. Millions wounded. Countries were left in ruins and families were wrecked. Today is the day that we remember those that died on the front line.
(Very) Brief (and quite modern) history lesson for you: some dude dies on a border. Germany go to war against some small country. Everyone else joins in. Massacre.
Today, we think about how life may have been if we had lost the war. Today, we think about how the worl would have turned out if we had lost the war. Today, we remember thse that died for us.
Take a few moments, just to remember those that died for you. Take a few moments to think about why you're on this Earth as a (more or less) free person.
Think. Remember. Never forget.
